Hands-free headtorch
April 1st 2006

The Wolf Zone 0 headtorch, HT-200, has ATEX equipment Category 1 specification, enabling it to be used safely in Zone 0 hazardous areas without risk to personnel.

Powered by three alkaline cells, it offers a light duration of 50h using all seven LEDs. It provides a wide-angle beam of light that is rated at 114 lux at a distance of 1m.

The company attributes the torch's safety, reliability and minimal maintenance requirements to its 'everlasting' LED cluster light source. It is operated by a rubber push-button, and the user selects from three, five or seven LEDs.

In addition to its use in a range of industries, the torch has been supplied to earthquake disaster and civil defence teams.
