Approval for fire training

Vulcan Fire Training says it is the first organisation to receive Approved Training Centre status from the Institute of Fire Safety Management (IFSM).

Fire safety provision is at the top of many agendas with implementation of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order imminent.

Graham Holloway, Vulcan's MD, comments "Attaining a recognised qualification demonstrates the necessary level of competency to the authorities enforcing the RRO. Courses are designed to be as practical as possible, so delegates will take with them the skills and tools they need to put good fire safety management into practice in their organisations."

Successful delegates on higher level courses will receive their joining fee and first subscription with the IFSM at either technician or associate grade on successful acceptance by the Institute.
