Anti-slip sole for latest footwear

Severnside Safety Supplies has introduced to the UK the latest development in safety footwear from Steitz Secura.

In addition to features such as Vario Weight dependent heel cushioning and the choice of four width fittings, two new features have been introduced.

Sure Step anti-slip soles are said to achieve the best possible resistance to slipping on oil or greasy floors, while Vario Vitality cushioning offers, in addition to heel cushioning, cushioning for the ball of the foot and the toe area.

The company says that extensive subjective wearer trials at BMW factories, in conjunction with scientific measurements of pressure distribution, have shown that Vitality cushioning can obviate the need for anti-fatigue matting and its potential for trip and hygiene hazards.
