Covers all angles October 1st 2004 More than 22 000m of guardrailing connected by Kee Klamp fittings has been installed at the Psyttalia wastewater treatment plant, Athens Bay.
A major part of the plants construction involved the creation of a series of aeration tanks, orthogonal, primary sedimentation tanks and sludge post-thickening storage tanks.
Ensuring optimum safety and a secure handhold for employees maintaining and monitoring these tanks is the task of a wide variety of Kee Klamp fittings.
Many changes in angle were needed around the perimeter of the various tanks. Kee Klamp and Athens distributor, Gioxas, were able to accommodate the resulting changes in guardrailing direction needed by the specification.
This versatility helped to ensure that all guardrailing could be cost-effectively assembled quickly and with the minimum of installation difficulty. Each Kee Klamp fitting has integral set screw to lock it securely onto the tube. this eliminates the need for welding or other skills. More articles from Kee Safety Limited: |
