New guardrail system
October 1st 2006

Langtons (Northallerton) has devised a new guardrail/ platform system to prevent falls from artic trailers and other flatbeds. The solution is based on the company's trestle guardrail system which, when combined with standard builders' trestles and scaffold boards, enables a semi-permanent working platform to be provided at trailer loading/unloading positions.

The trestle guardrail system has been tested to BS EN 13374-2004 and BS EN 12811-1-2003.

Keith Caygill, director, describes the new system as low cost, easy to erect and re-locate.
