Preventing falls
April 1st 2007

Safesite has provided Worthing Borough Council with fall protection systems for the Connaught Theatre, Worthing Museum and the Town Hall.

The facilities management section of the Council recognised that the roof areas on these premises required regular access in order to maintain and repair air conditioning units and plant and to carry out routine cleaning. Therefore, a permanent, safe method of working at height was required for each property.

Safesite proposed a practical and cost effective solution for each building using a range of products.

For example, it says that the System 2000 guardrail installed at the Connaught Theatre will have a dramatic effect by reducing falls from height risks to a minimum, providing a safe environment for maintenance staff and contractors alike.

The company offers advice and training on the correct use of products, as well as compliance with the latest legislation.
