Quartz grit embedded
June 1st 2006

Fibreglass Grating has developed an anti-slip gritted surface for its range of fibreglass grating floor panels.

Angular quartz grit is now embedded into the top surface during the manufacturing process, resulting in a hard-wearing, durable, chemical resistant finish.

Fibreglass grating is said to have one of the highest levels of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface, especially in wet, oily and icy work areas.

The maintenance-free product can be cut on site and is said to weigh 70% less than steel grating.

A full range of heavy duty 316 stainless steel holddown clips, panel-to-panel joining clamps and optional hold-down clamp systems are available.

Other products offered by the company include Mini- Mesh grating, covered grating and structural panels for service duct covers and to bridge larger spans.

Brochures and samples are available.
