Roof edge protection April 1st 2005 A KeeGuard roof edge protection system from Kee Klamp forms a key part of Newcastle City Council’s health and safety initiatives for employees working at height.
One such system has been installed at Breamish House, a three-storey secure housing block. Here, it provides a permanent safety barrier in the event of inadvertent slips or trips.
All assemblies in the Kee Guard system are designed for use with 42.4 and 48.3 o/d diameter tubing and standard fittings from the Kee Klamp range to provide an easy-to-assemble solution to roof edge guardrailing.
Modular and freestanding, it works on the counter-weight principle and does not need welding, drilling, threading or bolting; the only tool required for installation is a hex key to lock the integral set screw of each fitting securely onto assembly components.
