Safe roof access
April 1st 2004

To ensure safe access to the roof of the British Embassy in Cairo, Safesite has provided a safety system comprising internal eyebolts, horizontal lifelines and roof anchors.

As the Embassy is technically on British soil, it was imperative that the means of access complies with British legislation.

Safesites horizontal Life Line was specified as it provides a fall arrest solution for buildings where guardrails are not suitable or possible.

This allows the user complete and continual hands-free protection throughout the length of the system and can be installed easily to any beam/column structure, concrete wall or flat roof using a support post.

The company can provide advice on roof safety equipment and compliance with legislation. It also runs a series of training seminars to assist correct product specification.
