Stepping up stairwell safety
February 1st 2008

Oxford Safety Components will be demonstrating its stairwell safety system at Health and Safety 08.

The system comprises a frame with a light-weight working platform.

As well as preventing any falls down the stairwell, when it is open the system allows full clear access for people and materials up the stair. It is then easy to close to provide a safe work platform which safeguards the void, helping plastering, painting and electrical work above the stair.

The system can easily be fitted to straight stairs and those with kites or corners.

Oxford Safety Components will also be demonstrating its 'Brickguard' system at the Sandown show.

When brick-layers are building a wall, working from scaffolding, there is potential for a fall into the building. This new system prevents that type of fall and the resulting consequences.
