Cost effective

Sayfclimb from Sala is a new temporary fall arrest system for operators working on structures needing infrequent maintenance. Portable and installed in around 30 mins, Sayfclimb is a cost-effective alternative to permanent systems.

The cost of installing and annually testing permanent vertical safety systems is often prohibitive. Sayfclimb solves this problem.

Sayfclimb consists of top and intermediate brackets that are permanently attached to the structure. Weighing around 25kg, the Sayfclimb unit is equipped with a reel of up to 80m of stainless steel cable terminating with a double action hook. The first man up clips transfer devices (that are attached to the cable) onto the pre-installed brackets as he reaches them. The double action hook is then attached to the top bracket and tensioned. Once tensioned Sayfclimb acts like a permanent system but when work is complete, the lifeline is reeled in.
