Anti-slip base for RAF
October 1st 2004 An anti-static flooring system has been installed by 4m flooring uk across 4000m2 of the maintenance zone at RAF Cottesmore.
The system dissipates any static charge and withstands both the aircraft fluid Skydrol and the heavy demands of an airbed movement system used by the RAF to manoeuvre aircraft at the site.
Flowcrete Flowshield AS, an anti-static self-smoothing epoxy was chosen for the project. It adheres to BS2050, has a high level of chemical resistance and gives a hardwearing surface.
Flowcrete Flowcoat SF41, an easy clean, anti-slip epoxy coating was installed along walkways and fire routes. |
