Anti-slip coating
February 1st 2007 Protecta-Kote from Formbar is a hardwearing, anti-slip protective coating for industrial and commercial environments. Using a polyurethane base and recycled tyre granules instead of traditional grit particles, it is said to be tough, resilient and durable, yet comfortable and nonabrasive. It is weather and water resistant, flexible and resistant to acid, petrol, diesel and most chemicals. It also helps to prevent rusting. Applied manually by brush, roller or spray gun, the product chemically bonds to most clean and dry surfaces, including concrete, wood, fibreglass, metal, rubber and sound painted surfaces. It also bonds to itself, making it repairable for a long, reliable life. There is no mixing of components, so no risk of inconsistency. It dries quickly to minimise downtime and can be used both indoors and outside.
