Anti-slip development

TMC Mats has launched Diamond-Plate GritWorks 416 matting to the UK market. First developed in the USA, the product is said to have improved anti-slip qualities, with traction increased by more than 50%.

The anti-fatigue matting provides a high level of safety and comfort, reducing fatigue for those required to stand for long periods.

The product retains the comfort of the companys Diamond-Plate 415 matting and was developed after extensive testing, including heat aging, chemical resistance and abrasion.

The new version has a carbide grit surface to increase slip resistance. Absenteeism is said to be reduced as a result of increased comfort and reduced fatigue.
