Slip-resistant Heronrib matting from Plastic Extruders is playing an important role in Rye Sports centre. The facility, operated by Freedom Leisure Group, has been refurbished with close attention to health and safety.

Matting has been installed throughout the changing rooms to reduce the risk of slipping on wet floor tiles.

The open-grid format has raised profile underbars which allow water to drain away easily in all directions.

This means the embossed surface remains relatively dry and highly slip resistant.

The matting is hardwearing, yet comfortable to stand on; anti-bacterial and anti-fungal additives ensure it is hygienic for bare feet.
