Crisp and safe
November 1st 2009

Blue slip resistant Vynagrip matting from Plastic Extruders is being used in the production line of the new Mackies' Crisps brand.

At the Taypack factory, Vynagrip has been laid alongside the production lines to provide safe, anti-slip surfaces for workers and pickers. The matting's open grid helps to protect them by dissipating cooking oil spillage from the thermal deep-fat fryers and from other waste.

With 10 tonnes of crisps being sliced and cooked every day, the production line is constantly busy.

Vynagrip matting was chosen for its deeply etched surface which provides the UK's highest rating for slip resistant performance of R11 when tested to DIN 51130.
