Cushioned construction
October 1st 2006

A new, product-specific website has been launched by Plastic Extruders. The site details Heronair, an open grid matting that is of a cushioned construction. It is designed as a flexible, slip-resistant and antifatigue floor-covering and is suitable for use where employees must stand for long periods.

Constructed with flexible PVC hollow ribs, Heronair is said to provide high slip resistance, to be hardwearing and impervious to light spills which simply drain through the open grid.

It can be loose laid, cuts easily to shape and contours over rough or uneven surfaces. The cushioned construction is said to enhance comfort, reduce fatigue and to have an insulating effect.
