TMC Mats, in co-operation with local distributor Greenham, have been selected by Toyota to provide more than 2350m of anti-fatigue matting for the vehicle manufacturers plant near Derby.

With the factory set to move to round-the-clock production, Toyota decided to replace its mats with a custom-made solution.

The new two-layer matting is 13mm thick and has a special surface texture that maximises slip resistance without causing torque strain on the joints when turning.

Toyota opted for distinctive blue and green matting that can be alternated to delineate individual workstations.

The matting has wide ramped safety edges that fit flush to the sub floor to eliminate any trip hazard. The company guarantees that the finish a tough, solid vinyl surface laminated to a nitricell air-cushioned base will provide outstanding comfort for many years.
