Flexible coatings
June 1st 2004 New to Watcos extensive range of safety flooring products are Flexigrip and Flexicoat.
Suitable for floors that move slightly due to vibrating machinery or expansion due to heat and moisture, the new coatings contain rubber crumb to provide flexibility and insulation.
Applied by roller in one application, they fill and bridge small cracks to cut preparation time. Both products are said to have good chemical resistance, help to suppress noise and are waterproof, making them suitable for use in plant or boiler rooms where equipment may leak.
Watco Flexicoat cures to a smooth finish; Flexigrip will cure to a textured finish with enhanced slip resistance, making it suitable for ramps, steps, loading bays and wet areas. More articles from Watco UK Limited: |
