Getting tough in Teeside
November 1st 2009

200sqm of tough Vynagrip matting has been laid by SABIC UK Petrochemicals in its North Tees plant on Teesside.

The Vynagrip matting, has been used for the main workshops in the Aromatics manufacturing area and for all weather access on the exterior loading jetties and mooring dolphins.

Vynagrip matting was chosen because of its proven performance in tough environments. Not only is it maintenance free but it will contour easily over rough and uneven surfaces, while the open grid easily dissipates water and spillage.

Performance in practice shows that the matting can be used in all weather conditions, including snow and ice, to provide safe and permanent slip resistance underfoot.
