Gritted surface
April 1st 2007 A new anti-slip, gritted surface has been developed by Fibreglass Grating for its range of Fibreglass Grating Flooring Panels. Angular quartz grit is now embedded into the top surface during the manufacturing process, resulting in a hard-wearing, durable, chemical-resistant finish. The grating is said to have one of the highest levels of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface, especially in wet, oily and icy work areas. Panels are maintenancefree, are easily cut on site, and are said to weigh 70% less than steel grating. A range of heavy duty 316 stainless steel hold-down clips, panel-to-panel joining clamps and optional holddown clamp systems are available.
