Helps prevent SCHOOL SLIP-UPS
February 1st 2007

Under foot safety in the food technology room and design materials workshop at Thomas More Catholic School in Purley has been enhanced following the installation of Polysafe Corona, a low maintenance sheet vinyl safety flooring from Polyflor.

The product incorporates Supratec+, the second generation of Polyflor's soil are said to be up to 60%.

The company says independent test show the flooring can inhibit the growth of MRSA. However, it stresses that an effective cleaning regime is the most important defence against infection. Sustainable slip resistance is claimed for the life of the product, (equal to or greater than 36 on the RRL Pendulum wet test – Four-S rubber).
