Houston,we've solved the problem
March 1st 2010

Safety around the swimming pool complex of the Magnolia Independent School, near Houston in Texas, has been increased with the installation of Heronrib matting from Plastic Extruders. Manufactured in a bespoke magnolia colour to match the school's colours, it forms a slip resistant and hygienic walkway around the pool edge. The swimming pool caters for over 300 users daily, including the elderly and those with physical disabilities. The facility owners were concerned that the damp, indoor environment of the pool and the wet surround could present a major slipping hazard and needed to find an effective solution. Heronrib was chosen because it was known to be a proven health and safety matting, providing high slip resistance aling with permanent antibacteria and fungal protection.
