October 1st 2006 Fibreglass Grating says its Fibreglass Floor Grating has consistently reduced accidents in all types of industries. The gritted anti-slip top surface is said to have one of the highest degrees of slip-resistance ever measured for a walking surface, especially in wet, oily and icy work conditions. The integrally gritted walking surface is said to provide long lasting personal protection. Other features claimed include maintenance-free operation and chemical resistance. The grating is easily cut to size on site and the company says it weighs 70% less than steel grating.
