Slip-resistant mat
April 1st 2005

Two factories in Norway have installed 200m2 of Zedtred matting from Plastic Extruders beside their production lines.

The anti-fatigue matting was selected by Elektoskandia and Moler VW after researching a number of different floor coverings. It has proved comfortable to stand on and hardwearing.

ZedTred has a heavy duty ribbed vinyl surface fused to a high molecular density foam base. As the two materials are fused together thermally, they will not delaminate.

The matting provides a slip-resistant surface that is resistant to oil, chemical and acid spillage. The inherent resilience represents a measure of the ‘bounce’ that directly reduces the level of fatigue experienced by workers.

The Zed range comprises several different mattings designed for light to heavy duty use. Anti-fatigue mats come in rolls up to 18m long and in various factory-made module sizes, with optional ramped edges. Simple to cut to shape on site, they are easy to keep clean.
