Slip-resistant walkways
December 1st 2008

Long lines of Vynagrip matting form a slip-resistant walkway between acid baths at Metro Plating of Uxbridge, a company that specialises in the anodising and coating of aluminium components.

The new matting replaces older Vynagrip which has been used in the factory for up to 20 years. The latest version has an extra aggressive and deep etched surface which is rated to provide the UK s highest slip resistant performance (R12 when tested to DIN 51130). It has an open grid through which liquid spills and production waste are dissipated. It is hard wearing, resistant to oil and chemicals and comfortable to stand on.

Available from Plastic Extruders, the matting will contour over rough or uneven surfaces and is easily cut and shaped to fit around machines and fixtures.
