MICE/Domino, a printer specialising in silkscreen work had a problem of slipping when the floor became wet from oily or liquid spillage.

Following an internal audit, a concerted effort was made to address all health and safety issues. A particular area of concern was the wet floor in the stencil area. What the company required was a floor covering that would be slip-resistant when wet and also raise traffic over spilt liquids. At the same time, the flooring had to be resistant to chemicals and inks used in that area. the solution to the hazard has been to cover the area with Vynagrip safety matting from Plastic Extruders.

Made from pvc in a grid-welded format, the Vynagrip is hard wearing with a deeply etched top surface. The open grid facilitates easy drainage for dissipating spillages and other debris.
