Courses take off
October 1st 2004

A-Plant says that since it opened its Access Safety Training Centre in February 2004, it has awarded more than 500 operator’s certificates for courses recognised and approved by IPAF.

All successful attendees receive an IPAF PAL (Powered Access Licence) card that is valid for five years and is recognised by both the HSE and the Main Contractors’ Group.

Many workplaces will insist on viewing the card before operators are allowed to position, set up or operate MEWPs.

A-Plant also runs a one- day PASMA-certified access tower training course.

Successful candidates are issued with a PASMA identity card and certificate.
