Training guides
February 1st 2005

Two height safety training booklets have been produced in conjunction with courses run by the Health & Safety Training Academy and are designed to act as a guide for any person who may be exposed to danger when working at height.

The booklets – Pre- Inspection and Competent Person – describe safe working practices and carry information about correct fitting of equipment, prior use inspection, anchorage and loading and legislation.

The Pre-Inspection booklet is given to each student that takes an HSTA training course. If they take the Competent Person Height Awareness course, they will also receive the second booklet.
