Cuts slip risk
August 1st 2006

Although often seen as a bit of a joke or a trivial matter, slips, trips and falls are the single biggest cause of major injuries in the workplace.

To reduce the likelihood of such incidents, Skyhook GB has designed a cable support that keeps trailing leads off the floor.

The device is designed to be used in three different ways. It can be used as a temporary support that can be hooked over items such as floor joists or ceiling grids. A fixing hole in the top of the support enables it to be screwed upwards, i.e. into a concrete ceiling and, if there is not anywhere to hang the support or if the user is unable to get a fixing overhead, the support can be fixed through the side hole, enabling cables to be kept off the floor.

The device is made from a non-conductive material to reduce the risk of electrocution through damaged cables and is coloured yellow for high visibility. (The colour can be changed on large orders).
