Smart connections December 1st 2004 Waverley Borough Councils offices in Godalming can now be accessed with ease and safety following the installation of sturdy handrails that use fittings from Kee Klamp.
Working in accordance with the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act, the council has installed 15m of handrails to accompany a newly refurbished pedestrian access ramp and steps to its offices. Handrails extending either side of the ramp and steps provide guidance and a secure handhold.
Incorporating the new Kee Lite L160 bracket fittings in corrosion-resistant aluminium connecting steel tubes to form the structures, Kee Klamp has delivered an aesthetically pleasing solution to this safety issue. The one-piece low weight fitting has a swivel mechanism that allows the handrail to be placed at any angle, making it easy to work with on gradients. More articles from Kee Safety Limited: |
