£5.5m order to boost access fleet
October 1st 2006

A-Plant has expanded its powered access fleet with an order worth in excess of £5.5 million for new products from JLG.

The company says that, with the addition of the new machines, it will be able to offer for hire one of the most state-of-the-art powered access fleets in the UK.

The order comprises both diesel and electric powered Liftlux, RT and ES scissor lifts and 1250AJP, 1350AJP, 800AJ and 860SJ diesel powered booms.

The new booms take APlant's equipment working heights from 26 to 40m and, with the new JLG scissor lifts, maximum platform heights have increased to 24m. Units in the RT series offer double extension decks and independent, selflevelling jacks.
