Access platform
October 1st 2009

Abex's new mobile access platform, the MAP3, offers a safer, simpler and more cost effective solution to highlevel bus and coach window and bodywork repair and maintenance.

The easy to move, electric-powered rechargeable truck is controlled from the platform and is able to carry up to three personnel and a typical bus or coach windscreen, reducing the manual handling required by other access platform equipment.

The platform can be quickly adjusted to specific bus and coach profiles, ensuring a neat and tight fit.

Other safety features include a locking system, which immobilises the unit when the front gates are moved out of the way for working, and extending sidebars.
