Aluminium access tower introduced
June 1st 2007

ALUMINIUM ACCESS Turner Access has introduced the Beta Tower, an aluminium tower that it says is faster, lighter, stronger and, more importantly, safer.

Everything from the adjustable leg to the special GRN spigot has been designed with safety in mind. Greater support and rigidity is achieved with the adjustable leg.

The GRN spigot is said to eliminate the problem of frame jam and, therefore, reduces the risk of a fall.

Ergonomics have been a factor in the design of the tower. The frame is lighter, making it easier to handle which speeds assembly. The frame design is also said to give the user a higher performance and greater working load. An automatic windlock eliminates the risk of human error. Turner Access says that with the option of two advanced guardrails, complete fall prevention is achieved.
