Free checklist for ladder safety
August 1st 2006

Ladderstore.com has come up with a free and simple way to check that ladders are safe. If they are found to be safe, it will help the company keep them that way with its Ladder Log safety tagging system; if they are not considered safe, customers will be offered a 10% discount on new ladders bought from ladderstore.com.

The company is offering a free download of its ladder safety checklist, normally part of the Ladder Log setup pack, and available at www.ladderlog.com/ freecheck.

Gail Hounslea, MD, says "It's a bit like a ladder amnesty, it's a free and responsible way to check if a ladder is dangerous. If it is, the customer benefits from both the discount and the knowledge that their new ladder and anyone using it are safe, and by buying Ladder Log they are assured of keeping things that way."
