Offering a lifeline
August 1st 2008

Fall protection products from North Safety Products are designed very much with the user in mind, as the Duralite III self-retracting lifeline demonstrates.

A composite housing and Dyneema web lanyard result in a low weight (1.1kg). The high tensile, non-corrosive metal parts result in a fully serviceable unit that is said to have a long lifetime.

The product has a working length of 3.5m, built-in shock absorber and the Dyneema webbing is cut-resistant. It is suitable for applications such as ladder climbing, industrial maintenance and warehousing.

The Duralite III is available in a fall protection set with the new Rite-on full body harness and is packed in a black/yellow backpack.

The Rite-on harness is a heavy duty vest-style harness for general purpose applications and comes with breathable contoured backpack and quick-release connectors. The harness also has an extended D-ring shoulder strap arrangement.
