Contractor, JPV (Painters), hired AFI-Uplift boom and scissor lifts to help carry out work to protect the steelwork of a new galvanising plant being built in Cambridgeshire. The five boom lifts and one scissor lift were used to reach high level steelwork and apply an epoxy coating to protect it from the vapour created during the plant's galvanising processes.

Paul Allen, director of JPV (Painters) said: "The AFI machines gave us the reach and flexibility to get around a number of obstacles when we were working in areas where space was restricted."
