Safe maintenance February 1st 2009 A comprehensive roof safety system
from Safesite is enabling Southwark
College to carry out safe maintenance
of plant and machinery housed on
building roofs at its Waterloo and
Bermondsey campuses.
Following a survey and assessment
of the roof areas by Safesite, vertical
access ladders have been installed to
allow safe access to the different roof
areas, while Safesite's System 2000
freestanding guardrail has been
installed to provide edge protection
on the roofs and prevent access to
areas which contain fragile materials.
Safesite's BBA Approved System
2000 freestanding guardrail enables
edge protection without the need to
mechanically fix the protection
system to the roof itself. This helps
prevent possible damage to the roof's
membrane. More articles from Safesite Limited: |
