A-Plant will be launching new products and initiatives at Safety & Health Expo.

The first is an initiative in support of the HSE's Better Backs Campaign. A-Plant will highlight a range of products, available to hire, that will assist with lifting and manual handling.

Lifting equipment available includes vacuum lifters, chain hoists, stair climbers, and so on. All of the equipment is designed to help employees avoid serious back or other injuries and prevent potentially costly periods of absence.

Two of the products on show will be the AL-Vac Mantis and Handyman Super systems, mobile, batterypowered vacuum lifting machines with a maximum load capacity of 160kg.

The company will launch an enhanced version of its Site Safety Pack, with a dust supplement that focuses on the reduced Workplace Exposure Limits for Respirable Crystalline Silicone.

A-Plant will also be promoting use of the Pop- Up platform.
