HSS Hire has ordered more than 100 AlphaStep podium steps from Turner Access. Offering four working heights, from 250 to 1000mm, they are designed for ease of use.

The telescopic guardrail section allows access through a standard door while still assembled and is guardrailed at all times. The product is 725mm wide and weighs 37kg.

HSS Hire worked with Turner Access to develop the AlphaStep, that can be used for safe, low level access applications.

David Johnstone, access product director of HSS Hire, says "We chose Turner Access as they were keen to work with us to develop this particular low level product.

The AlphaStep complements our access range and we are delighted with the product."

The addition of the AlphaStep further strengthens the HSS range of safety equipment that is suitable for working at height and fully compliant with the 2005 Work at Height Regulations. The hire company can supply access requirements locally and provide a one-stop shop for customers nationally.
