Versatile trestle
December 1st 2004

A new trestle from Safesite incorporates key features of traditional trestles as well as a number of new design aspects that the company believes will set new standards for portable access equipment.

The trestle comes in a galvanised finish and is suitable for external and internal work where a safe, secure platform is needed.

Unlike conventional versions that come in various sizes, the Safesite trestle is a modular design that gives full height and width flexibility in a single unit. This allows it to be adjusted to different height requirements to 2m and to be folded to a compact unit for storage.

Safety features include integral double guardrail and toe board, while a specially designed frame allows for ease of storage and transportation.

The trestle provides a cost effective access solution for a variety of tasks, including maintenance and, as only one unit is required, it can help reduce equipment costs and hire charges.
