Non-slip stair treads
October 1st 2007

'Nonslip' stair treads and stair nosings are designed to help companies comply with the Disability Discrimination Act Part III and with Building regulations. The slip-resistant products are also said to enhance general step and stair safety in almost any environment. Available from Nonslip Safety Products, the safety step covers and Safe-edge are constructed using a composite of fibreglass reinforcements and polyester resins. The hardwearing silicone carbon grit top surface gives good traction underfoot and is said to increase the confidence of users even on wet and frosty days.
