Tailored BSC qualifications February 1st 2009 The British Safety Council (BSC)
has worked with Saipem UK –
specialist in offshore heavy lifting
and pipeline installation – to develop
the BSC Certificate in Health, Safety
and Environment for Offshore
Project Managers. The firm is
delighted to have a qualification
developed to its exact specifications.
The qualification – which is split
into two three-day modules – was
delivered for the first time in August
and Saipem has four more courses
scheduled between winter 2008 and
March 2009, putting a total of 60
staff through the qualification.
The BSC is encouraging other
companies to collaborate with it on
bespoke HS&E qualifications.
