ACT is an Independent risk management practice specialising in the fields of Health, Safety and Environmental, Audit, Consultancy and Training. We provide third party management system audits to a spectrum of organisations including railway, food processing and healthcare. Following audit we are able to provide advice on any training or skill needs identified to meet competency requirements or best practice.

Quality training is provided by a variety of methods, including public venues, in-company and distance learning. Pubic venues are selected with good accommodation of reasonable size and with excellent leisure facilities. This is particularly important when attending long periods of study, such as may be required for NEBOSH courses. Our public venues are located central to the West Midlands.

In-company courses offer a cost effective alternative, can be tailored to specific client needs and may be programmed to make best use of staff availability. Ever conscious of the need for variety we also offer very cost effective distance learning options. In-company and distance learning options are both available throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

All courses include comprehensive course materials and are supported by committed course tutor(s) with practical management skills in the teaching and principles of the topic being delivered. Our methods of teaching use unique techniques to ensure continuous assessment of each and every delegate; good steerage; interest and success at examination. Much of our NEBOSH training enjoys 100% pass rate with delegates often achieving credits and distinctions for their work.

Distance Learning options are available for NEBOSH training. Courses include; Directed Self Study Construction Conversion Course, Computer Based Training (CBT) for the NEBOSH National General Certificate and the Diploma Part 1. The computers based products use interactive software and are the first of their kind to be developed.

ACT takes pride in ensuring their Seminars e.g. up-dates to fire legislation The regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2004, effective 2005 and training are at the forefront of other training providers. We pay particular care and attention to the design of the programmes and quality of the support materials, many of which are published by RMS Publishing and are available to students and tutors looking for sound reference materials.
