BSC joins forces with Salvation Army
May 1st 2009

In times when unemployment is high it is imperative for job seekers to remain competitive. Competing with the recently unemployed, the long term unemployed have to work even harder to promote themselves in the declining job market. The British Safety Council (BSC) has recently teamed up with church and registered charity The Salvation Army to offer free Level 1 qualifications in Health and Safety at Work to all clients on its Employment Plus UK Service, giving candidates greater accessibility to employers while helping them stay safe at work.

The Salvation Army’s Employment Plus UK service offers advice and resources to help the longterm unemployed and vulnerable adults back into employment.
