Candidates top of the class
July 1st 2009

Following on from the success of its courses in London and Dundee, the British Safety Council (BSC) has announced a pass rate of 80% in its NEBOSH National General Certificate (NGC). Furthermore, candidates from Bristol achieved a 100% pass rate, making it the first location to receive a 100% pass rate across all three units.

The 10 day course is designed to build a solid theorectical and practical understanding of occupational health and safety. The courses, which have also been delivered in Manchester, Bristol and Londonderry, were attended by people from a variety of industries. The BSC has been closely monitoring its NEBOSH courses and course content since its launch last year, and in January it made some additional improvements as part of its regular review process including: the introduction of pre-learning materials; enhancement of the guidance provided for the practical assessment (NGC3); and the introduction of end of element handouts for each of the 16 elements.
