Corporate responsibility

The Public Health team at Nottingham Trent University is to offer a Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Responsibility from February 2009 (with an option to progress to Postgraduate Diploma and MSc planned for the future).

The course is flexible in its design and will be delivered via blended and flexible learning. Students will primarily work at distance and will normally complete the course within 6 to 9 months. Support and input will be provided through short, intensive teaching days, e-learning tools and dedicated tutor support.

The course takes a holistic view of organisations in context and consists of the following modules: Business continuity management, governance and risk management, and environmental management (IEMA certified).

The course is said to be ideal professional development for those working in these areas and is also relevant for individuals seeking to develop their knowledge and careers in this area.
