Course covers standards
June 1st 2006

A new one-day training course has been introduced by Pilz Automation Technology for those who need to learn about ISO 13849-1 and BS EN 62061, machinery safety standards that are crucial to those designing new machinery or modifying existing equipment.

Safety Integrity Level is a topic that is covered in depth during the course, with worked examples to show how component reliability data is used to calculate the SIL.

Courses can either be held at the Pilz training facilities in Corby or at a customer's premises.
