First aid benefits
June 1st 2006

A survey by the British Red Cross has highlighted the wider benefits to both employers and employees of completing a first aid course.

The organisation surveyed people after they had completed a first aid course and 94% of them said they felt more confident following their training.

Annette Homes, head of commercial training, comments "Companies should be aware of the wider benefits of first aid training.

Not only will their staff have the ability to help colleagues but they will have increased confidence and feel a more valuable member of staff."
