To further enhance its training courses, Pilz has invested heavily in new facilities and now offers state-of-the-art lecture rooms and workshops at its Northamptonshire offices.

Also, for 2005, there is an expanded schedule of training courses that are designed to appeal to machine designers, control system designers, maintenance engineers and managers with responsibility for the health and safety of staff working with machinery.

Courses for Directives and standards are as follows: Machine builders regulations and standards; Design of hardwired electrical safety related control systems for machinery; and Requirements for maintaining plant and machinery – safety related controls.

There are also: Four-day machinery safety course; Five-day IOSH managing safety course – incorporating machinery safety; and an Introduction to BS EN 61508 (IEC 61508).Product-related courses are also offered and the company can tailor courses to meet the needs of specific customers.
